The Standard General English Course takes place every morning from Monday to Friday, leaving you free every afternoon to join the Social Programme or study in our Self-Access facilities.

Your morning lessons are divided into two parts and you will usually be taught by two different teachers.

On the Intensive General English Course, you will follow the same programme as the Standard General English Course in the mornings, plus three afternoon classes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, which gives you the opportunity to improve your communicative proficiency through discussions, topical debates, authentic materials and video.

The main objective of the Intensive General English course is to develop communication skills at an accelerated rate and to improve your competence in using English in everyday situations.

On our Combination Course, you will follow the Standard English Course in the mornings and you will also have 5 hours per week of individual one to one lessons.

These are designed to meet your individual needs and requirements and offer you the ideal opportunity to work on specific language problem areas with your own teacher.

If you plan to go to university in either Ireland or the UK then you need to take the IELTS examination.

CES will help you achieve your goal.

Students follow the Standard General English course in the mornings and take the IELTS preparation course three afternoons per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. If you are starting your course at a low level you will be carefully encouraged and monitored in preparation for joining an IELTS Preparation Course. The ideal level for joining this course is intermediate (B1).

The Cambridge Examination Preparation Courses are designed to help you prepare for one of the following Cambridge Examinations:

*CPE Cambridge Proficiency in English

20 hours tuition per week

Students follow the Standard General English course in the mornings and take the Business English option three afternoons per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The Business English option is designed for students who wish to improve their communicative proficiency in a business environment.

It can be tailored to meet the needs of any particular group of students and focuses primarily on the specialised language of Business English.

The CES ACELS (The Advisory Council for English Language Schools) accredited CELT (Certificate in English Language Teaching) was established in 2007 as part of the EFL industry's continuing commitment to maintaining the highest possible standards within EFL in Ireland. This certificate ensures you are provided with an insight into the professional life of a functioning school and brings you into direct contact with overseas learners. This Certificate is now the benchmark qualification for employment in the quality EFL sector.

It is an intensive 4-week 120+ hour course, which takes place from Monday to Friday.

One Course- Two countries

This course gives you the opportunity of living and learning more about the culture and social life of both England and Ireland. You can divide your stay as you wish and you can start your course in either England or Ireland - we leave the choice to you.

The Course - You can take the Standard or Intensive English Course at any CES school. Students can book from 12 weeks in any centre.

The Work Experience programme is the ideal way for you to further improve your English language level while developing your professional skills. Through hands on experience you will gain a greater understanding of the international business environment.

The Work Experience programme is perfect for university students, graduates and young professionals aged 18 years or over and who have a minimum English level of Intermediate.

You must take a minimum of 4 weeks English language course with us before you can start your Work Experience and you can have the Work Experience for a period of 4 weeks to 6 months.

CES Dublin is a training centre for English language teaching. We have delivered the CELT (Certificate of English Language Teaching) since its inception. This teaching certificate is recognised by the Irish Department of Education and is one of the principal employment requirements in the private English language sector both here in Ireland and abroad. CES together with professional rugby coaches based here in Dublin have collaborated to design a course to appeal to the needs and requirements of aspiring rugby players from across Europe!

The programme is designed to help young players improve their game technique, physical stamina, kicking, passing and mental attitude!

CES Junior Summer School combines expert English language training with a full programme of sports, activities and cultural visits. The morning class is divided into two sessions; the first part of the morning concentrates on the grammar structure and writing. The second part of the morning is designed to improve listening and oral skills. Role-play, communication exercise and authentic materials are used. Project work, Irish culture, history and legend are also important parts of the course.

The Junior English Language and Golf Course includes three afternoons of golf a week.

The Gaiety School of Acting 'The National Theatre School of Ireland', have designed aprogramme combining expert English language training and a full programme of musical dance theatre,activities and cultural visits.

Led by professional tutors of the Gaiety School of Acting, the National Theatre School of Ireland,students will embark on a musical journey through some of the world’s greatest musicals. Students will learn to sing, act and dance and will perform a showcase for their peers on the final day of the course.

No experience is necessary. The CES Fame Academy Summer Course includes English language classes every morning from Monday-Friday,and three afternoons of musical dance theatre per week.

CES has a number of different options for the younger learner. We have junior summer centres in Dublin and Navan. We at CES feel that learning English should be fun. We recruit teaching staff for our junior centres who will motivate and encourage junior students to build on the English they already know.

This programme is open to all students aged between 14 - 17 years of age.
