Description

Brighton University (Varley) is located just 15 minutes by public bus from the centre of Brighton. Our accommodation is in the Varley Hall campus and all rooms are single with shared shower and toilet. There are two toilets and showers in each flat of 6 rooms. The campus has a beautiful new dining area where students have breakfast and dinner and which they can also use to relax in after a hectic day! The university, as you would expect, has superb classrooms and student facilities as well as excellent sports facilities.

Courses

Junior English Language Residential Programme

The course consists of 15 class room hours per week- Monday-Friday from 09.30 to 12.45.

CES Junior Summer School is organised to include expert English language training with a full programme of sports, activities and cultural visits. The first class is divided into two sessions; the first part concentrates on grammar structures and writing skills. The second part is desiged to improve listening and oral skills.

Role-play, communication exercises and authentic materials are used. Project work, UK culture, history and legend are an important part of the course. The course takes place in Watts, just 10 minutes away by bus from the residence Varley Halls where the students are accommodated.
